Good Tuesday Morning Everyone, Here is what we know for the most part. Looks like we have some rain coming into play today and tomorrow. The biggest chances are for today and tomorrow. A few isolated storms will be possible this afternoon and evening, though the threat is conditional. Most of the region should remain dry, but if any storms do develop they could become strong to severe. Locally damaging winds, hail, and frequent lightning are the main hazards. A Heat Advisory is in effect for today and tomorrow. Temperatures in the mid to upper 90s along with humid conditions will yield heat index values of 105+. Limit outdoor activity, drink plenty of water, and always check you back seat before locking your vehicle! Please take care of each other today and be safe out there. UPDATE: 10:30 AM Clusters of severe thunderstorms are forecast this afternoon and evening in a broad area from parts of the northern/central Plains into the Midwest, Ohio Valley, and Mid-Atlantic. Severe gusts and large hail are the main threats. The most intense gusts and very large hail are expected across parts of the northern Plains.
